The Hindi language is a combination of words taken from many languages including Turkish, Arabic, Persian, English, and Portuguese etc. When we analyze deeply, we will come to know that most of the words spoken in areas like Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi etc. are loan words taken from these languages.
I have compiled another list of 38 Turkish loanwords in Hindi, which I use in both Punjabi and Hindi languages. I am sure some of these words are common in Arabic and the Persian languages too.
This list is not exhaustive and there would be many more words that we use in Hindi language coming from Turkish. If you know any, please feel free to tell us about that through the comment section.
